The Blank Tapes is the moniker of Southern California-based multi-instrumentalist, Matt Adams, who has produced over a dozen albums of 1960’s and 70’s inspired folk-rock-surf-psych-soul-pop on Volcom, Burger Records, Antenna Farm, and many others. Their latest album being 2020’s Power Trio, where Matt playing all the instruments. The band has toured throughout the US, UK, Europe, Canada, Brazil, Japan & even Costa Rica. Matt has also produced other artists including Sugar Candy Mountain, The Regrettes, Pearl Charles, Kath Bloom & many more. Matt is also the artist behind his band’s posters & album covers as well as doing art for the Grateful Dead, Chris Robinson, Langhorne Slim, FolkYeah & more!
