Chad Kennedy was born and raised in St. Louis, Mo. His desire to escape the Mid-West fueled his passion for storytelling of all mediums, leading him to begin studying literature, theater, and film at an early age. He graduated with honors from the USC School of Cinema-Television and began his career in feature development working on such films as TERMINATOR 3, TERMINATOR 4, and BASIC INSTINCT 2. Frustrated with working on movies that had numbers in the titles, Chad re-ignited his passion in Television during the development of THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES, the first Terminator-based TV show. Since then, for over a decade, Chad has overseen dozens of shows between his time at Warner Bros. Television Studio and Lionsgate Television Studio, including WITHOUT A TRACE, ONE TREE HILL, ER, SOUTHLAND, SHAMELESS, SUPERNATURAL, REVOLUTION, THE BIG BANG THEORY, THE ROYALS, NASHVILLE, GREENLEAF, and many others. Currently, Chad serves as the Senior Vice President of Current Programming at WBTV, where he oversees LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, SANDMAN, DOOM PATROL, BLACK LIGHTNING, SUPERMAN & LOIS, and PRODIGAL SON.
