Raised in an entertainment family it’s no surprise that Mark found himself in radio.
During his 35 years at KOST 103.5 in Los Angeles, CA he won almost every personality award bestowed by the industry including Billboard magazine’s Personality of the Year and Radio & Records magazine’s Major Market Personality of the Year and received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
He’s as comfortable having conversations with guests like actors Amy Adams, Meryl Streep or Jeremy Renner, musical greats Gwen Stefani to Paul McCartney to everyday visits with listeners that he always called family.
His inside knowledge of the music business led to his immensely popular daily feature “Behind the Song”.
He was called Mr. Christmas in the halls of KOST and for 20 years kicked of the yearly Christmas programming and aired hundreds of his annual from Santa to children throughout Southern California.
At the beginning of 2020, he was unceremoniously released by KOST without being allowed so much as a goodbye, but thanks to social media has stayed in daily contact with his fanbase and soon will be ready to make his next move.
Mark is a longtime Studio City resident and the extremely proud father of four who has been married to his beautiful wife Barbara for 31 years.
